Dr Steve Calveley
Veterinary Surgeon/Branch Partner
BSc (Hons) BVSc MRCVSSteve originally hails from Anglesey. After completing a Zoology (Physiology) Honours degree at The University of Liverpool, Steve decided the student life was for him and enrolled onto the Veterinary Science course, also at Liverpool. Steve has been with Charter since qualifying, working at the Congleton branch initially and, since 2007 , as a small animal clinician at the Newcastle and Smallthorne branches. He now is pursuing his main interest in small animal medicine and surgery. Steve is currently studying towards a further certificate and particularly enjoys soft tissue surgery. In his spare time, he enjoys swimming and running to try and maintain a level of fitness. Weather permitting, Steve enjoys the outdoor life; in particular camping and cycling with the family. The Peak and Lake Districts are favourite places. His two young children – both boys -keep him very busy at weekends.
